Retro fashion meets science at the Nina Athanasiou S/S15 Presentation that was held Sunday, September 7th at The Designer’s Loft in New York City during Fashion Week.

While many may have eagerly anticipated the fashion film, Akuma that starred famous model Shaun Ross, it was the fashion that we were eager to see walk down the runway.

There was a lot of leather—something that we loved. Leathers in various colors from coral red shorts to sandy brown leather skirts, leather was abundant and easily Nina Athanasiou was on trend for the upcoming spring. read more

#NYFW- The Art Institute of New York City Showcases Spring/Summer 2015 Collection!

New York Fashion Week (NYC) — On September 9th, 2014, we had the opportunity to attend the Art Institute of New York City’s Spring 2015 fashion show at Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. We were inspired by the potential of the student designers.

Attending this show is always exciting because it gives us the opportunity to spot designers that are in the making to become great fashion icons. There are a lot of designers that have the potential to reach an audience of budding fashion enthusiast that make a mark in the fashion industry as bloggers and stylists. read more

New York Fashion Week (NYC) — On September 9, 2014, I attended one of the best shows to date in fashion that is focused on the new generation of fashion elite that are adventurous, rebellious and mysterious. The Skingraft fashion show that took place at the Pavillion, inside the Lincoln Center, was hands down the most outstanding and notable. Always pushing the envelope, Jonny Cota gave us avant-garde fashion that will be the trend setter for the Spring/Summer of 2015. read more

New York Fashion Week (NYC) — The Dom Streater fashion show on Monday, September 8, 2014 was held at the very chic lounge No. 8 located in Chelsea.

As we can expect from Dom Streater, she gave us fabulous trending colors of periwinkle, red and lavender, and a print that was very artsy and feminine. She stayed close to the classic cuts of maxi dresses that we have all grown to appreciate. Several fancy coats, straight shirt dresses, and really cute envelope hats were ready to be worn and flirted on the runway we call the streets. read more
