So while we were browsing the internet for all things pearls, we can across this unique and interesting shoe. Once sold at Top Shop (the shoe is no longer listed), this shoe with its long lashes and ruby red lips with pearl ankle strap had us scratching our heads. Pearls are commonly known to compliment more upscale evening pieces or professional clothing like dress suits. They are not commonly associated with casual wear, so I completely understand you inquiry. Pearls can be styled with causal looks like the look above featuring a gray and white striped sweater, dark blue distressed jeans, pink statement cat-eye glasses, a pair of simple white wedge sneaker boots, flower earrings, and a perfect combination of layered rhinestone and pearl bracelets.

This look really works because the pearls are just an accent piece rather than the full focus of the look. The combination of the pearls and rhinestones layered as a bracelet creates an awesome appearance that speaks class and sophistication with a little fun and daringness.  They truly complement each other.

Freshwater or Saltwater Pearls are crushed into a powder and used as a skin care treatment for people who had inflamed skin. To take 1 gram of pearl powder by mouth, traditionally mixed into water or tea, twice weekly could reduce redness of the skin almost instantly. Victoria’s Secret enthusiasts were all hailing the new Vickie’s collection especially the “Pearly Queen” look worn by top model, Adriana.

The look was appropriately named “Pearly Queen” due to its unique and spectacular design of black undergarments perfectly adorned with 3,000 embroidered pearl buttons.
